Role
We are seeking an Intermediate QA Analyst for a 6-12 month contract. Our ideal candidate excels in both technical expertise and interpersonal skills to work within a small but mighty QA team.
In this role, you'll be integral to our team, ensuring the highest quality of our products through meticulous attention to detail and robust testing procedures. Responsibilities
Identify test requirements and execute test cases
Identify and resolve product workflow issues
Ensure product workflow adheres to acceptance criteria as defined by clients and internal project team
Identify areas of improvement for products as well as testing processes
Perform quality tests on products as it relates to accessibility
Develop, document and maintain test cases and other test artifacts
Support and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members
Identify potential quality issues and escalate immediately to project team
Ensure that validated deliverables meet specifications and requirements
Conduct thorough and effective quality tests to ensure high quality product is delivered to clients
Report test results and bugs in appropriate tool (i.e., Azure DevOps)
Responsible for quality assurance (QA) test execution activities which includes functional testing (Black box Testing, End to End Testing, Integration Testing and System Testing)
Support other members of the QA team as required
Work with the user experience team on information architecture, workflows, UI
Qualifications & Skills
4+ years of work experience as a Quality Analyst
Superb verbal and written communication skills and an engaging presentation style
Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and team orientation
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to explain complex ideas simply and concisely
To be results driven and tenacious
Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment, deadlines and new challenges
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Computer information Technology , Business, or Web Technologies or equivalent
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
Capability to juggle multiple clients and projects simultaneously
Familiarity with standard software development tools and technologies
Excellent knowledge of systems and functional analysis, quality assurance, and change management best practices
Experience working in an agile development environment
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Familiarity with test automation concepts and technologies
Knowledge of, or training in User Experience best practices
Familiarity with Postman, Selenium, C#
Individual pay is determined by work location, internal equity and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
