Wednesday, August 21, 2019 – Servus Credit Union has expanded its account opening capabilities across Alberta with the successful deployment of Retail Online Account Opening by thirdstream. Account opening is backed thirdstream’s Identity Verification Platform. The platform is designed to appeal to prospective credit union members, who can set up accounts remotely, from any device, anywhere, anytime. Existing members are able to set up additional accounts as required, and the process is expected to take less than five minutes.

Servus will be automating traditionally paper-based processes to create the optimal user experience for their members. In addition, by introducing a range of funding options, including real-time integration with their Ovation core banking system, they will deliver on consumer expectations while simultaneously creating internal efficiencies.
